Carnival Volunteers
The Miramar Ranch Halloween Carnival is a HUGE success because of the many MRE family and and community members that volunteer their time to make it happen.
Miramar Ranch Parents - Our Halloween Committee is trying something a little different this year than in years past. Usually each classroom is responsible for running a class booth and providing two parent volunteers during carnival hours, 11am-4pm, and provide additional parent volunteers for set-up (10-llam) and take-down (4-5pm). This year, we are doing things differently. Please consider helping in one of two ways:
- Signing up for the Halloween Carnival - Classroom Booth Coordinator spot in your classroom. Sign up here. Our wonderful teachers have helped support this event over the years by having their classes make small Halloween-themed decorations for their class booth. The Classroom Booth Coordinator will correspond with your teacher to get the craft from the teacher, arrive to the carnival (at 10am) to help set up a game booth and hang the crafts and finally make sure the game booth is in working order before leaving (around 11:15am) and enjoying the Carnival with your family.
- We have a lot of High School Volunteers to help with the Carnival but the Homecoming Dance is the evening of the Carnival. We are in need of Parent volunteers in the afternoon to help run game booths. Please sign up to Volunteer at a Classroom Game Booth and if your class is all filled up, feel free to sign up to volunteer at another teacher's booth.
Community members - If you have questions about volunteering for this event or know teens that need community service hours, please let us know.
